If a company is not able to satisfy 186 caveats, a nomination will very likely be refused.

You are asking a migration agent for advice for free so you can start a process with another migration agent?

forget about an invitation for 189 with 60 points.
For points work experience is what matters, not a visa type.

you are,
nomination on behalf of an employer, visa application on behalf of an applicant – we can assist with both stages
she may not need to sit an English test given she’ll be able to prove her English is on a Functional level in any other acceptable way, or you have spare 5kAUD to pay for 2nd VAC.
you and employer pledge to continue the job for 2 years after a visa grant.

457 is a temporary visa, I’m not sure what is the reference to PR in your question. You can apply for a subsequent applicants visa for your family given your employer will agree to that.

I am on a 457 visa since 15th of March 2017 as a restaurant manager which is now on the short list. As I understood since my visa has been granted before 18th of April 2017 I am still eligible for PR from the 15th of March 2019
My questions are :
What are the steps to apply for PR ? Do I need to sit down with my employer and he has to apply through the company lawyer ? Or can I apply on my own ?
Does my wife which is on defacto with me on my 457 has to sit an english test ?
After my PR is granted do I need to stay in the same company or I can resigned and open my own business ?
Thanks a lot

I have held 457 Visa as en Electronics Engineer for more than 2 years now and I’m eligible to apply for PR transition with the company’s sponsorship (I’ve already asked them). My partner for more than 3 years has arrived in Australia 6 months ago and is currently on an Student Visa (we live together and share financial assets). We have registered our relationship in Victoria since Dec 2017. I have three questions:
1-Can I directly apply to PR including my partner ?
2-If not, then I have to add her to my 457 first and then apply for PR ?
3-If both are applicable, which one is easier/cheaper ?
Thanks.

I have submitted EOI with 60 points in SEPT 17 (waiting from invitation, any idea if gov is planning to clean all pending applications? : ).
Question: My 457 Visa will expire in July-18, my employer is fine to renew it (hope this will be MLTSSL),
Does my experience on 457 visa still be considered for PR application after getting MLTSSL? ( for 5 points )
Do I need to resubmit EOI?
